Into the Wild Retreat

Welcome to Into the Wild, a charming escape in the picturesque village of Agios Dimitrios on the stunning island of Ikaria. Nestled among lush olive groves and alongside a gentle river, our property features two beautiful stone houses, creating a serene oasis just 950 meters from the main road. While the road to our retreat may be a bit uneven, rest assured that your car can easily reach the house, welcoming you to this enchanting getaway.

One of our stone houses is available for independent rental, offering a cozy and private sanctuary for those seeking relaxation. The second house is a shared accommodation that can host up to six guests, featuring four comfortable bunk beds and a lovely private bedroom with a king-size bed. This space is perfect for families or friends looking to connect and create lasting memories together.

As you wander the grounds, you’ll meet our friendly cats, Jacky and Pinky, and our loyal dog, Z. They add a warm and joyful spirit to our home, making it feel even more inviting.

As a refugee from Iran, I have found hope and solace on this beautiful island. It has become my sanctuary, a place where I can embrace my passions for poetry, singing, and music. Every corner of this retreat is infused with the spirit of resilience and creativity, reminding us all of the beauty of life, even amid challenges.
